Shots rung out in Point Breeze with no reported injuries Friday.
A 61-year-old woman was headed westbound on the 2400 block of Tasker Street when the front windshield of her 2006 Infiniti was struck with a bullet at 12:52 p.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver said. She was unscathed. An unoccupied 1998 Jeep parked near Taylor Street also received a bullet to the front windshield.
Investigators discovered ballistics evidence on the 2400 block of Tasker Street, but did not find a shooter or victim, Tolliver said.
