A Passyunk Square native, Nader, 46, has written for some of TV’s popular sitcoms.

The grad from St. Maria Goretti High School, who grew up just north of her alma mater at 10th and Reed streets, started her career writing for TV magazine shows like “Entertainment Weekly,” but upon visiting TV sets for the job, she found her true calling. The first script she and writing partner Amy Cohen did was sold to “Caroline in the City.”

She continued to write for shows episodes for “Dharma & Greg,” “Spin City,” “The King of Queens” and “Kath and Kim.” She also has served as supervising, co-executive and executive producer as well as writer for many of her gigs. She is currently penning scripts and serving as co-executive producer for “2 Broke Girls,” which is in its third season on CBS.
