Antonio Jeffcoat, 25, of North Philly, now is being held on $750,000 bail stemming from his Monday arrest for a pharmacy robbery in West Passyunk.

Jeffcoat was arrested for his latest crime at 5:15 p.m. Saturday — about two months after he posted a percentage of his $15,000 bail, which was connected to a late-2011 West Philly burglary, according to court records. That trial is set to begin Aug. 26.

Police spotted Jeffcoat at Broad and Moore streets at 5:30 p.m. April 24 — a day after he allegedly robbed Rosica Pharmacy, 2065 Snyder Ave., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Authorities were unable to locate the victims at that time to identify the suspect, and released Jeffcoat.

Between April 25 and 26, the victims selected Jeffcoat from a photo array as the robber, Tolliver said. Police obtained an arrest warrant and spotted Jeffcoat in West Philly where officers apprehended him.

Jeffcoat was charged with three counts of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property; various firearm violations; and related offenses, according to court records. He had not posted bail as of press time.

He is believed to have entered the pharmacy at 4:05 p.m. April 23, pointed a gun at the 52-year-old male owner and demanded he supply him with Percocet and cough syrup, Tolliver said. After obtaining the medication, he supposedly ordered everyone to the floor and fled northbound on 21st Street. A 27- and 69-year-old female also were working during the incident.
