A man was robbed at gunpoint in Marconi Monday.

A 23-year-old was strolling along the 2800 block of South 16th Street when an armed man came up behind him and said, “Turn around and give me your money,” Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The man handed $200 to the offender, who searched his pockets and found nothing more.

The robber, who fled northbound on 16th Street, was described as white, in his 40s, 5-foot-10, 150 to 160 pounds, thin; having a long, gray beard but no mustache, two gauges in his earlobes; and wearing a black hoodie with white text on the front.
