Police are looking for the woman who swiped another female’s wallet from her purse at a Whitman restaurant last month.
The victim was sitting at the bar at Longhorn Steakhouse, 2120 S. Columbus Blvd., at 5 p.m. March 3 when another woman distracted her before sitting down, police said. During the diversion, the arriving woman swiped the other woman’s wallet. Shortly after, the suspect used one of the stolen credit cards. After she left the undisclosed store, she entered a dark-colored sedan that was parked in the fire lane and operated by an unknown person.
