According to business owners on South Street between Third and Fourth streets, heavy construction that has led to limited parking and less foot traffic is taking a bite out of their monthly intake, too, as the trucks rolling down the stretch Monday to continue the beautification project were a sign of the times. The usually bustling thoroughfare isn’t expected to be orange-cone free until the end of the fall.
