No need for the hot sun when dabbling in shades of yellow and pink. Artist Kim Alsbrooks delicately paints alfresco on the 400 block of Monroe Street for the newest project of the Mural Arts Program. Designed by South Philly’s Paul Santoleri, two artists, three interns and volunteers from the William H. Meredith Elementary School, 725 S. Fifth St., are serving as extra hands on the three-months-in-the-making project that will surely be a visual feast of colors and tiled mosaics promoting peace.
