PHILADELPHIA SOUL TRYOUTS
The ArenaBowl XXII champion Philadelphia Soul is holding open tryouts at Widener University, 17th Street and Melrose Avenue in Chester, Sept. 28. Athletes are required to participate in offense and defense drills.
Session one for wide receivers, defensive backs and quarterbacks begins at 8 a.m. with tryouts at 9.
Session two registration, for offensive line, defensive line, fullback, linebacker and kicker, starts at noon with tryouts an hour later.
Participants should be dressed in workout gear and sneakers. Pads will not be worn. Athletes must sign a waiver and pay a registration fee of $75.
