A car went around the block before its occupants fired multiple shots and struck a man twice Tuesday night.

A 23-year-old man was leaving a beer store at 4928 Paschall Ave., when he saw green vehicle with tinted windows circle the block at 11:39 p.m., according to a report. As he walked east on Paschall, the car pulled up beside him and the men inside allegedly began shooting. With wounds to his right pelvis and buttock, he was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition. No description of the suspects was given.

Teen squabble

A fight between two teenage girls ended with one of their sister’s being arrested April 16.

After a physical fight between two 19-year-old women at 4:30 p.m., one of the women hopped in a white Buick Sedan with her sister, Shavonne Valentine, 26, of the 2500 block of South Ashford Street, according to a report. When the other teen’s 16-year-old sister walked toward the automobile on the 6700 block of Dorel Street, Valentine allegedly pointed a small, silver automatic handgun, Jimenez .380, at her and told her to back up. Valentine fled in the car in an unknown direction, but was arrested later at her residence where the weapon was recovered.

One of the 19-year-old’s was transported to HUP for injuries sustained in the fight. She was soon released and transported to Southwest Detective Division for questioning.

Valentine was charged with firearm violations, possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.


Chokehold

Following a physical alteration with her boyfriend, an 18-year-old female called police on him April 16.

Durell Tyheem Matthew, 18, of the 6500 block of Saybrook Ave., allegedly verbally fought with his girlfriend before pushing the victim on a bed in the house at 5:47 p.m. on the 6400 block of Woodland Avenue, according to a report. While she was on her back, the offender allegedly jumped on her, choked her with one hand and punched the woman in the face and chest numerous times with the other. He then allegedly grabbed a knife and poked her chest demanding she get out. No medical treatment was needed, according to a report.

Matthew was charged with possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.


Night out

A woman was allegedly raped by a neighborhood acquaintance and his brother after a night out Tuesday.

A 23-year-old woman went out to a club, Studio 7, in West Philly when a friend, "Sam" offered to take her home since she was drunk at 1:13 a.m. After a pit stop at Checkers, 58th St. and Baltimore Ave., the woman passed out in the car. The next thing she remembered, according to reports, was awaking to "Sam" allegedly raping her.

After falling back to sleep, she awoke again to "Sam’s" brother allegedly raping her. She punched the offender in the face and busted his lip when he told the victim that "Sam" said, "it was cool." "Sam" told her he would go to an ATM to give the her money if she promised she would not call the police.

However, the woman called and the brothers fled in a two-door white vehicle in an unknown direction before police arrived.

The woman was transported to Mercy Hospital and then Jefferson University Hospital. To report information, call Southwest Detective Division at 215-686-3183.


$10,000 check swiped

A man exited his car on the 7500 block of Elmwood Avenue when two males approached him from 75th Street allegedly pointing a handgun with a black barrel and a brown handle at the victim at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday. One of the men said, "give up everything" and took his cellphone, car keys and a wallet with ID and credit cards and a $10,000 check inside.

The offenders fled on foot southbound on 75th Street.

Second chance

Upon waking up at 5:50 a.m. April 17, a 28-year-old female was allegedly hit repeatedly with a Timberland boot by her ex-boyfriend, Donald Kemp, 46, 6300 block of Saybrook Avenue, at his home. It is unknown why the woman as there.

After choking her the day before, the victim thought Kemp had calmed down, but the morning of the boot beating, he told her, "I don’t care about the law. I’m going to kill this bitch."

Kemp was charged with possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.


Women assaulted

Following a drink at a deli on 52nd Street and Kingsessing Avenue at midnight Tuesday, a 45-year-old woman willingly left with a man to a home on the 1300 block of South 51st Street, but was allegedly sexually assaulted without her verbal consent. She was taken to Jefferson Hospital for an examination.

The man was described as a black male, 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, dark complexion, cleanly shaven, wearing a dark color coat and blue jeans
