A Southwest man was found dead inside an Oldsmobile in Point Breeze Friday.
17th District police responded to the 1400 block of West Ringgold Street at 1:17 a.m. where they found 24-year-old Ernest Abrams with gunshot wounds to the head, chest and shoulder inside a white Oldsmobile Intrigue, Sgt. Ray Evers of the Police Public Affairs Unit said. Medics pronounced him dead six minutes later.
A 30-year-old, who may also have been in the car, was transported to Methodist Hospital where he was treated for a graze wound to the shoulder and released, Evers said.
There was no motive or suspects as of press time.
