A man suffering from paranoid schizophrenia is missing from an local mental health center as is an area woman who never returned home from work last month, according to police.
Abdel Anderson, 36, who requires daily medication, was last seen at Mifflin Horizon House Behavioral Health Center on the 1900 block of South Sixth Street, according to the Police Public Affairs Unit. He also is known to frequent The Gallery at Market East, 900 Market St. Anderson is 5-foot-11, 180 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

April Torres, of the 1900 block of South Seventh Street was last seen Oct. 2 in Old City where she works as a horse carriage operator, according to the Police Public Affairs Unit. The 39-year-old is 5-foot-3, 140 pounds, has brown eyes and long and wavy brown hair and was wearing a white sweater, black pants and a gold cross necklace.
