Residents along the 2400 block of South Eighth Street had tossed their trees to the curb by Tuesday morning. In a joint effort among area civics, those who have not yet disposed of their evergreens can recycle those void of decorations 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Columbus Square Park, 13th and Reed streets, for a $5 suggested donation.
