Amar Greene, 32, is wanted for a 1999 homicide, said Deputy Robert Clark of the U.S. Marshals Service’s Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, which is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to his arrest. When the warrant was issued in November authorities contacted Greene, whose last known address is on the 1700 block of Reed Street, and he promised to turn himself in, but has since averted police.

Luther Johnson, 21, of the 1600 block of South 18th Street, was pronounced dead at the scene after receiving multiple gunshot wounds July 23, 1999, according to police at the time of the incident.

Greene is 5-foot-8, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
