A teen was shot while strolling in the East Passyunk area last week.
Walking eastbound on the 1400 block of Morris Street, an 18-year-old heard gunshots and immediately felt pain in his right leg at 7:20 p.m. Feb. 15, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The teen rushed around the corner and called police, who discovered ballistics evidence and the victim on the porch of a nearby home. The teen was transported to Jefferson in stable condition.
The 18-year-old was unable to provide a description of the offender, Tolliver said.
