ALL-PUBLIC HONORS

Twelve area players received all-league honors. In the Public League’s Division A, Southern senior guard Jermaine Flowers won second-team plaudits. Prep Charter senior forward Mark Wilmer found a spot on Division C’s second team, with teammate Laquan Stephens, a junior forward, landing on the third team.

Palumbo junior Demetrius Davenport and CAPA senior Matt Powers won first-team honors in Division D. Audenried sophomore guard Qaadir Nock and junior guard Daquan Jones placed on the second and third teams, respectively, and Palumbo junior guard Sharif Smith also appeared on the third team.
GAMP sophomore guard Tobias Stokes topped off the Division D honors with a third-team nod.
Neumann-Goretti, the Catholic League and District 12 Class AAA city champions, are well-represented, with senior guard Lamin Fulton, sophomore forward John Davis and junior forward Derrick Stewart earning first-team distinctions. Fulton also won the co-MVP award, and coach Carl Arrigale was named Coach of the Year.

EOM ANGLES BASEBALL CLUB

EOM baseball registration are taking place 7 p.m. Thursdays beginning Feb. 17 at EOM, Front and Moore streets. The age divisions are: 7 to 9 (pitching machine); 8 to 10 (travel); 12-and-under (travel and in-house); 13-and-under (travel); 13 to 15 (travel); and 14-and-under girls’ softball. EOM HOCKEY

Sign-ups for  kindergarten to third grade and fourth to eight grades will be 6 to 8 p.m. March 14 at the Second Street Irish Society, 1937 S. MIXED SOFTBALL LEAGUE

PHILLY GIRLS GOT GAME

ROOKIE RUGBY

Registration is being accepted for T-ball, baseball and girls softball. The season begins April 16. The age divisions for baseball are: 4 to 6 (T-ball); 7 to 8 (pitching machine); 8 to 10 and 10 to 12 (live pitch); 13 to 15 and 16 to 19 (Babe Ruth).
