The long winter hiatus is finally over as Citizens Bank Park opened its gates for Tuesday’s on-deck series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Workers, some of whom were dressed in their 2008 championship attire, were pumped up for another season of Phillies baseball (top). The slight chill in the March air didn’t stop the fans from coming out early to support the home team (bottom). Many anticipate Tuesday’s victory just being a taste of bigger and better things to come. Tomorrow at 1:05 p.m., the Phillies host the Houston Astros in the first of a three-game series.
