Fugitive surrenders

A fugitive wanted for a Point Breeze home invasion and shooting turned himself in last week.

Laquan McIntyre, 19, of North Philly, turned himself in to South Detective Divsion, 2301 S. 24th St., April 20 and was subsequently charged with three counts each of robbery, aggravated assault, theft, unlawful restraint, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, false imprisonment, firearm violations and related offenses, according to court records.

McIntyre, allegedly shot a woman and stole firearms during a home invasion on the 1800 block of South 20th Street at 8:45 p.m. April 11, according to authorities. McIntyre and two accomplices are believed to have entered the home and duct taped its occupants — a 25- and 27-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman — before McIntyre’s weapon allegedly fired striking the woman’s chest.
