An Atlantic City man was slain in Passyunk Square.
Alfonso Garcia-Olmos, 47, of Atlantic City, N.J., was shot in the head and the right side of his chest at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 13 on the 1300 block of Eighth Street near Earp Street, Officer Jill Russell of the Police Public Affairs Unit said. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and pronounced dead at 9:28 p.m.
Police did not have any suspects or a motive at press time.
