A woman was jumped for her iPhone 4 last week in the Newbold/Point Breeze area.

After exiting the Broad Street Subway at the Tasker-Morris station, the 25-year-old answered her cell while strolling west on the 1500 block of Morris Street, Detective Tamika Selden of South Detective Division said. In that process a teen knocked her down from behind, swiped her black iPhone from her hand and ran south on 15th Street.

The woman was not harmed, Seldon said.

The thief was described as a black male with a light complexion, age 17 to 20, 5-foot-7, thin, and wearing a gray shirt.
