Electronics were stolen from a Queen Village store.

A 27-year-old employee alerted police that when he arrived at CEX Store, 424 South St., which sells and buys cell phones and other electronics, Oct. 25, a rear window was forcibly opened and $35,000 in merchandise including laptops and newer cells, were missing, Detective Tamika Selden of South Detective Division said. The intrusion is believed to have occurred between 10 p.m. Oct. 24 and 10 a.m. Oct. 25.

The business’ surveillance system was not on and the alarm system did not activate, Seldon said.
