Police are seeking a duo responsible for robbing a Grays Ferry sporting goods store.
A man, who police say acted as a lookout, entered Golden Sports, 3005 Grays Ferry Ave., and examined shoes at 7:40 p.m. Oct. 27, according to the Police Public Affairs Unit.
Another man walked in shortly after, held a gun to the store’s 63-year-old owner and demanded cash, Detective Tamika Selden of South Detective Division said. He took cash from the man’s pocket and $500 from the register. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

The employee did not report the incident until 11:20 a.m. Oct. 28, but police recovered surveillance video.
The armed suspect was described as black, age 25, 6 foot, thin and wearing a black American Eagle hoody and blue jeans whereas his accomplice was described as black, age 20, 6 foot, thin and wearing a gray hoody and black pants.
