""Police continue to seek a man, who attempted to rob a Marconi bank and fled in a car reported stolen earlier that day.

The offender approached a teller at Prudential Savings Bank, 1834 W. Oregon Ave. at 1:35 p.m. Nov. 13, handed her a blank deposit slip and said “give me all your large,” Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The employee pushed the panic button and the offender walked out of the bank and into a green, 1999 Volvo station wagon with a Pennsylvania tag of HLV-3566 that headed south on 19th Street.

The getaway vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the day to the 3rd District, Tolliver said.

The suspect was described as white, age 30 to 40 years old, 6 foot, 215 to 250 pounds and wearing a green or gray skully hat, sunglasses, a white T-shirt, blue jeans and tan boots.
