A Passyunk Square burglary resulted in more than $1,000 in possession losses after teenagers gained entry via a first floor screened window.
A 27- and 26-year-old woman were asleep upstairs overnight and awoke Sunday at about 10:33 a.m. to discover that someone had broken into their home, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The two did not hear or see anything during the night on the 2000 block of South 13th Street.
Missing from the home was a green Trek bike, a blue Schwinn bike, a guitar, an Xbox and speakers and two backpacks totaling about $1,150, Tolliver said.
A witness reported seeing two black men with short hair and wearing dark clothing traveling east on Emily Street on bikes and carrying a guitar and backpack at 4 a.m., Tolliver said.
